ZHONGFATIANXIN（SICHUAN） AVIATION TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. was founded in 2016, under the initiative of China’s launch of the “Aero-Engine and Gas turbine Major Project” and “Civil-military integration strategy”. The company is a national high tech innovative enterprise jointly initiated by alumni of Beihang University and its State Key Laboratory since its establishment; the Company has been deeply engaged in the field of light aero-engines. It has strategically laid out three major business segments: aviation power and energy, aerospace intelligent equipment manufacturing, and commercial application of large unmanned aerial vehicles. By integrating scientific research, production and services, it has developed into a comprehensive enterprise, engaged in intelligent equipment manufacturing and technical services. Closely following the national development strategy of the low altitude economy, the company has made deep, strategic deployments in core industrial chains.
Endowed with mature core technological advantages in professional fields, the Company has established strategic partnerships with state-owned enterprises and prestigious universities such as AVIC, AECC, CATIC, Beihang University and Tsinghua University. Being deeply rooted in domestic market demand in recent years, the Company has strategically deployed production sites nationwide while expanding overseas markets and exploring new models of international cooperation. Currently, it operates several holding subsidiaries across the country.
Following national aviation policies and strategies, the company has established aviation industrial bases in Beijing, Nanchang, Chengdu, Zigong and other locations, rolling out platforms and bases for serialized lightweight aero-engines, new aero-engines, aerospace mission support equipment, and intelligent digital maintenance of large UAVs.The Chongzhou New Aero-engine R&D & Manufacturing Base, with a total investment of RMB 2.25 billion, will build China’s exclusive private aero-engine high-altitude test platform to tackle high-altitude testing difficulties of domestic small-and-medium aero-engines and components. Its Phase I construction is fully finished, slated for commission by late 2026 together with major equipment installation for Phase II high-altitude test bench. Official operation will start in June 2027.

A pioneer in domestic UAV system application, the company offers standardized UAV operation, technical support, airport & airspace services, ground support and integrated overall solutions for multi-mission platforms. With mature operation systems and standardized infrastructure, it provides integrated solutions for meteorological monitoring, emergency rescue, ocean observation and other civilian sectors, striving to benefit public livelihood and national development.
As a subsidiary of Zhongfa Tianxin (Sichuan) Aeronautical Technology Co., Ltd., Jiangxi Zhongfa Tianxin is China’s first private enterprise to supply small and medium aero-engines for large domestic UAVs, and the sole full aero-engine R&D and manufacturer in Jiangxi Province. Its core businesses cover the R&D, manufacturing, testing, maintenance and support of various aero-engines, production and testing of engine components and accessories, as well as development of engine test benches and non-standard test equipment. It delivers comprehensive power supporting solutions for domestic and overseas UAVs, business jets, cruise missiles and distributed energy systems.
Based on a mature core engine and oriented to host equipment demands, the enterprise develops diversified derivative engine models via continuous optimization and modification. Its independently developed XXX turbojet engine is China’s only 10kN-thrust engine equipped with a full-authority digital control system. Fitted on Wing Loong-10, Chengdu Aircraft Industry Group’s first high-altitude high-speed export military UAV, this engine has passed appraisal and entered mass production. Another newly matched UAV has completed its maiden flight.
The company undertakes key provincial scientific research projects in Jiangxi and holds numerous independent intellectual property rights. It has obtained national quality management system certification, military R&D & production filing and industrial qualifications, and been accredited as a national high-tech enterprise, a Jiangxi Specialized, Refined, Differential & Innovative SME, and a Nanchang Engineering Technology Research Center. Its research project won the Second Prize of Jiangxi Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award in 2024.
The Nanchang Aero-engine R&D & Production Base covers a planned area of 200 mu. Phase I (73 mu) has been completed and put into operation, equipped with full-process standard facilities including engine assembly workshops, component inspection workshops, accessory test rooms and small & medium engine test benches. It boasts an annual output capacity of 100 small aero-engines, alongside airworthiness verification and engine research testing capabilities.
